Tesoro Gold (ASX:TSO) said ongoing diamond drilling at the El Zorro Gold Project in Chile returned wide intervals of high-grade gold mineralization, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
Drilling encountered intercepts of 43.1 meters at about 2 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 476 meters, as well as 10.1 meters at 1.7 g/t grade of gold from 59.7 meters from three infill and eight extensional drilling holes.
Four diamond rigs are operating across the infill and extensional drilling programs, which are expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2026, the filing said. New discovery drilling has started at the La Brea target.
The firm's shares fell nearly 6% in recent trading on Wednesday.
