Orion Minerals (ASX:ORN) focused on advancing its Prieska mine and Okiep project in South Africa during the quarter ended Sept. 30, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company worked on operational readiness and value engineering at the Prieska mine, preparing tenders for upcoming project requirements, including a build-own-operate-transfer plant for Uppers development, the filing said.

Meanwhile, the company is advancing exploration targets at the Okiep project, focusing on testing near-mine extensions to known mineralization at Flat Mine deposits and incorporating data from eight adjacent prospects into updated geological models, per the filing.
