智通财经APP获悉，消息人士称，通用汽车(GM.US)于周五解雇了200多名领薪员工。该公司将此举归因于“业务状况”，目前通用正加大力度提升公司层面的运营效率。
此次裁员主要集中在通用汽车位于密歇根州沃伦市的技术中心(Tech Center)——该中心是通用自动驾驶研发、软件开发及新车型设计的核心枢纽。
这是通用汽车今年第三次裁减公司员工：1月已解雇1000名领薪员工，8月再次裁员1000人。通过调整后的绩效评估体系，通用今年已将全公司绩效排名末位5%的员工列为即时解雇对象。
通用汽车第三季度业绩显示，其电动车(EV)业务及进口关税方面仍面临挑战。不过，得益于关税缓解措施及美国本土产能提升，该公司已将全年每股收益(EPS)指引上调约11%。
