消息面上，据三湘都市报报道，10月23日深夜，上海徐汇区一辆理想Mega在行驶途中突然起火，被烧成空架。10月24日，据澎湃新闻报道，理想汽车方面针对上海理想MEGA起火事故回应称，“事故发生时，车门顺利打开，驾驶员和全体乘客全部安全离车。我们安排了专人前往现场处理，目前消防部门也已介入，我们会积极配合消防部门的调查，并依据调查结果开展后续工作。”
10月1日，理想汽车公布9月交付数据。理想汽车9月完成交付33951辆，同比下降36.8%，连续4个月出现同比下降。汇丰研究发布报告称，理想汽车上月底发布新中大型五座纯电动SUV理想i6，推出后表现强劲，预料可推动公司第四季销量大幅反弹。汇丰研究维持理想汽车的“买入”评级，但考虑到EREV组合的销量及定价存在压力，将2025至2027年销量预测下调22%至31%，相应地将盈利预测下调55%、42%及31%。
