智通财经APP获悉，塔吉特(TGT.US)周四表示，将削减1800个企业职位。具体被裁员工需等到下周二才会接到通知。
据零售业观察人士称，此次裁员是塔吉特总部有史以来规模第二大的减员行动，不过这将使其企业员工总数恢复至约三年前的水平。
重组措施包括裁减1000名员工，并取消约800个空缺职位，约占塔吉特全球团队的8%。值得注意的是，美国企业员工已被要求下周远程办公，以便进行通知流程。
即将上任的首席执行官迈克尔·菲德尔克在发给员工的备忘录中写道："今年春天，我们以清晰的雄心启动了企业加速努力：加快行动速度，简化工作方式，以推动塔吉特进入下一个增长篇章。"
菲德尔克补充道："事实是，我们长期以来积累的复杂性一直阻碍着我们前进。过多的层级和重叠的工作延缓了决策，使创意更难落地。"
这家零售商表示，变革旨在使塔吉特的运营更加敏捷。
