路透底特律10月23日 - 福特汽车周四下调业绩指引，指因一家重要铝供应商的火灾造成的影响，将导致今年年底前一些利润最丰厚车型减产。
福特表示，F-150皮卡的材料供应商Novelis的纽约工厂9 月份发生火灾，将给福特造成税息前 15 亿至 20 亿美元的损失，并表示预计明年将弥补其中约 10 亿美元的损失。
福特在股市收盘后发布了业绩，盘后股价上涨约4%。
福特公布的第三季营收为 505 亿美元，同比增长9%。该公司公布的第三季每股收益为 45 美分，高于 LSEG 分析师预期的 36 美分。
福特今年第二次下调了年度业绩展望，将今年息税前利润从 65 亿至 75 亿美元下调至 60 亿至 65 亿美元。
首席财务官Sherry House表示，如果不是因为Novelis工厂的火灾，福特会提高业绩指引。
该公司表示，预计到今年年底将损失多达10万辆的产量，明年将在密歇根州和肯塔基州的工厂增产5万辆F-150和SuperDuty皮卡，以弥补一半的损失。(完)
