BCI Minerals (ASX:BCI) is making strong progress on its ambitious project to develop Australia's largest salt operation on the Pilbara Coast, with the first shipment targeted by the end of 2026, Euroz Hartleys said in a note on Thursday.

The resources company is furthering the Mardie High-Purity Salt Project, which is expected to become the third-largest salt operation globally, producing 5.35 million tonnes per annum.

Construction is so far 74% complete and remains on track for the first salt shipment by late next year.

The brokerage said BCI is now at an "attractive entry point," with the project's development progressing well, on schedule, and within budget.

Euroz Hartleys reiterated its price target of A$0.47 per share.
