Natwest's Quarterly Beat Driven by All Lines -- Market Talk

0701 GMT - NatWest's third-quarter beat was driven by all lines but particularly net interest income, RBC Capital Markets says in a research note. Focus during the U.K. bank's call with analysts is likely to be on the trajectory of its net interest margin and on capital, analyst Benjamin Toms and associate Sherry Lin write. "The bank's structural hedge will provide additional momentum as we go into FY26, but we struggle to see the next catalyst for this name which will drive further re-rating from here," they say. Shares have rallied over the past 12 months, they note. The lender will issue 2026 guidance and targets to 2028 at its full-year results in February. (elena.vardon@wsj.com)
