BUZZ-United Rentals drops after quarterly profit misses estimates

** Shares of equipment rental firm United Rentals URI.N down about 7% at $920.90

** Co misses third-quarter profit estimates, hurt by high interest rates and constantly rising input costs

** URI reports profit of $11.70 per share, missing analysts' average estimate of $12.30 - data compiled by LSEG

** However, co raised FY revenue forecast to the range of $16 bln to $16.2 bln vs prior view of $15.8 bln to $16.1 bln

** Up to last close, URI stock was down 42.3% YTD
