ChainCatcher 消息，据彭博社报道，澳大利亚储备银行行长 Michele Bullock 强调，政策制定者、政府和行业推动国家支付系统现代化，要重点关注四个领域，且强调了安全性。
她认为创新与韧性应相互促进，澳储行等正与各方合作以利公众。首要任务是升级账户间支付基础设施，从大额电子清算系统入手，该系统虽可靠成本低，但缺全天候实时处理等现代功能，“新支付平台”可补足。
由澳储行等组成的圆桌会议，计划今年底制定替代方案愿景，2026 年年中出台实施计划，期间会权衡成本、传统与用户优先级等。
第二是加强跨境支付，让国际转账更高效透明。第三是打击欺诈诈骗，需持续创新，迁移卡片系统至高级加密标准应对量子计算。最后是加强运营韧性，澳联储正在研究系统间的连接如何加剧故障，以及其自身的结算基础设施可能需要如何适应新型数字货币，包括央行数字货币。
此外，央行会保障现金流通，现金使用量下降促使监管机构就新规则咨询。
