Liberty Star Uranium & Metals Corporation has announced the successful completion of induced polarization $(IP)$ and resistivity testing at its wholly owned Red Rock Canyon Gold Project, part of the Hay Mountain Project in southeast Arizona. The geophysical survey confirmed that gold-bearing veins can be readily detected and mapped using electrical geophysics, even beneath soil cover. Results showed that these veins exhibit both higher resistivity and IP values compared to the surrounding limestone, indicating their association with sulfide mineralization typical of Carlin-style gold deposits. According to company officials, these breakthrough results will help optimize future drilling programs and support the project's advancement toward development, aligning with national efforts to secure domestic sources of strategic minerals.
