Delayed Orders Won't Derail Mattel's Holiday Outlook -- Market Talk

Dow Jones
Oct 22, 2025

1617 ET - Mattel CEO Ynon Kreiz says the toymaker is well-positioned for a strong 4Q and holiday season, despite 3Q order delays. Shifting retailer ordering patterns due to macroeconomic and trade uncertainty pushed orders toward the end of the year, he says, but consumer demand remains strong in the U.S. and internationally. Kreiz emphasizes the delays reflect logistics, not weaker demand. With its supply chain ready, Mattel expects toys on shelves ahead of the holidays, keeping the company on track to meet full-year guidance. (connor.hart@wsj.com)
