美国财政部长斯科特·贝森特周二再次出手提振阿根廷资产，他把前一天签署的200亿美元互换安排称作“经济稳定”协议。
贝森特在社交平台X上发帖表示，这项与阿根廷央行达成的协议是“通往阿根廷更美好经济未来的桥梁，而非纾困计划”。
随着阿根廷总统哈维尔·米莱本周末将迎来至关重要的中期选举，这项安排是美国为稳定这一动荡、易陷入危机的经济体所采取策略的关键支柱。过去两周，美国政府多次直接入市支撑阿根廷比索，这样的支持非同寻常。
“一旦选举结束，美国财政部的买盘将占主导地位，”范达新兴市场副投资组合经理David Austerweil表示，“美国财政部已承诺和已投入的资源规模非常庞大。”
贝森特发帖后，阿根廷美元债升至盘中高点，根据汇编的参考报价，2035年到期债券上涨近0.5美分，每1美元面值报57美分以上，随后收窄涨幅。自米莱所在政党在一场省级选举中不敌庇隆党反对派以来，比索一直承压，日内走弱近0.4%，报1美元兑1480比索。
