Stocks to Watch Tuesday: Fluor, Zions, Coca-Cola -- WSJ

Fluor $(FLR)$: Activist investor Starboard Value has taken a nearly 5% stake in the engineering and construction company and plans to push for ways to boost its stock price, The Wall Street Journal reported. Shares rose more than 5% premarket.

Zions Bancorp $(ZION)$: The regional bank reported higher quarterly earnings despite a $50 million charge-off, disclosed last week, to cover two loans taken out by borrowers facing fraud allegations. Shares added 3% premarket.

Companies expected to report earnings before the bell include 3M $(MMM)$, Coca-Cola $(KO)$, GE Aerospace $(GE)$, General Motors $(GM)$ and Philip Morris International (PM).

After markets close, companies set to report include Netflix $(NFLX)$, Capital One $(COF)$, Mattel $(MAT)$ and Texas Instruments $(TXN)$.

CATL (CN: 300750): The Chinese battery giant reported a 41% rise in quarterly profit, sending shares up nearly 3%.
