Trek 2000 Shares Jump 26% on Aboard AI Partnership to Enhance Flight Safety

Trek 2000 International's (SGX:5AB) subsidiary Trek Technology (Singapore) is partnering with software developer Aboard AI to create AI solutions for the aviation sector.

The tie-up involves designing a solution to identify early signs of aviation maintenance and improve flight safety, according to a Monday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

The partnership will combine Trek's wireless memory technologies, which use NAND and DRAM systems for data-intensive processing and secure transmission, with Aboard AI's artificial intelligence algorithms for real-time flight data computation and analysis.

The project is expected to generate over $15 million in revenue.

Shares of Trek 2000 surged over 26% in Monday trading.
