BUZZ-Carter's falls after quarterly sales miss, higher tariff costs

** Shares of children's apparel retailer Carter's CRI.N down about 7% at $30 premarket

** Reports quarterly sales decline, citing weak wholesale apparel demand due to elevated product costs resulting from tariffs

** Posts Q3 revenue of $757.8 million, missing estimate of $769.8 million -- LSEG data

** Quarterly adjusted EPS in line with analyst estimates of 74 cents

** Warns of pre-tax earnings impact of tariffs between $200 million and $250 million on an annualized basis

** Expects Vietnam, Cambodia, Bangladesh, and India will represent about 75%, and China less than 3%, of its product sourcing spend in fiscal year 2025

** Stock down 40% so far YTD
