10月27日早间，小米创办人、董事长兼CEO雷军在微博发文称：“K90设计、工艺、质感大幅度提升，改成6.59英寸中尺寸屏幕，手感和体验也提升不少，是不是越来越有旗舰气质？”
10 月23 日，REDMI正式发布年度旗舰——REDMI K90系列，包括REDMI K90 Pro Max和REDMI K90两款机型。其中，K90 Pro Max 起售价3999元；K90 起售价2599元。
据称，K90背部采用iPhone 17同款工艺打造。据了解，冷雕玻璃工艺是指将一块平面玻璃通过精雕机和磨头进行减薄，使其形成弧度的加工方式。
