London's Miners Rise on Easing U.S.-China Trade Tensions -- Market Talk

0827 GMT - London's diversified miners rise in early trade as trade tensions between the U.S. and China thaw a little. The rise comes after U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the countries have a "very successful framework" in place ahead of a meeting between President Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping. BHP's London shares rise 2%, while Glencore is 1.8% higher and Anglo American is up 1.5%. Rio Tinto's London-listed shares tick up 0.8%, while copper miner Antofagasta climbs 1.5%.
