China Shenhua Energy's Q3 Profit Slumps 12%

China Shenhua Energy (HKG:1088, SHA:601088) recorded a 12% decline in attributable profit in the third quarter of 2025 to 14.7 billion yuan from 16.6 billion yuan a year prior, an Oct. 24 Hong Kong bourse filing said.

Shares of the power company were up over 1% in Monday afternoon trading.

Basic EPS was 0.738 yuan in the three months, down from 0.837 yuan in the corresponding period of the last year.

Revenue fell 13% to 75 billion yuan in the quarter from 86.4 billion yuan a year prior.

For the nine months ended Sept. 30, attributable profit slipped 14% year over year to 41.4 billion yuan, while revenue fell 17% to 213.2 billion yuan.
