据新加坡《联合早报》10月26日报道，马来西亚国家广播电视台因分别认错新加坡总理和印度尼西亚总统，两度公开道歉。
据马来西亚《星报》报道，马来西亚国家广播电视台（RTM）26日早些时候直播第47届东盟峰会和相关会议时，将印尼总统普拉博沃错误标识为前总统佐科，并为此道歉。
几个小时后，RTM再次因为在直播中将新加坡总理黄循财错误标识为前总理、现国务资政李显龙，而第二次公开道歉。
RTM在声明中说：“RTM高度重视这件事，将采取适当的行动。RTM向新加坡总理、政府以及所有受此错误影响的人士致以诚挚歉意。”
声明也还说，RTM将加强编辑监督和核查机制，确保未来播出的所有信息准确无误。
