得益于关键的财富管理业务推动，汇丰控股报告的第三季度收入超出预期，尽管有11亿美元与伯纳德·麦道夫欺诈案件的拨备对盈利造成影响。

　　这家总部位于伦敦的银行周二表示，截至9月份的三个月营收同比增长5%，至178亿美元。相比之下，公司此前汇总的普遍预期为167亿美元。当季税前利润下降14%，至73亿美元。

　　“我们正在成为一家精简、更灵活、更专注的银行，建立在我们的核心优势基础之上。”集团行政总裁艾桥智表示，“尽管提取了与历史问题相关的法律拨备，但我们执行战略的意图仍在本季度的业绩之中得到反映。”

　　就在此前一天汇丰表示，将计提11亿美元拨备，用于应对在麦道夫诈骗案中蒙受损失的投资者所提出的诉讼。这也是汇丰公布拟将恒生银行私有化的计划之后，首次公布业绩。
