--BT is considering the launch of a low-cost mobile brand amid increased competition from new rivals in the telecoms market, the Financial Times reports, citing unnamed sources.
--The London-listed telecommunication group--with a current offering limited to its premium EE brand--could create a new budget brand, or buy an existing mobile virtual network operator, according to the FT.
--"We regularly review our offerings across all our brands to ensure our customers have access to the best products and services on the best network. At present, we have no plans to change our mobile offering," BT told the FT.
