Market Chatter: Citigroup Expands Employees' Use of AI

Citigroup (C) continues to expand its employees' use of artificial intelligence, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing Chief Executive Officer Jane Fraser.

Fraser said the company's AI tool can draft performance reviews, and cited the first draft of performance reviews as an example of annual processes that the company's AI tool can "eliminate," according to the report.

Bloomberg said Citigroup had reported earlier that automated code reviews from its generative AI tools have saved 100,000 developer hours per week.

Citigroup did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
