高盛集团首席执行官大卫·所罗门对美国公司First Brands Group和Tricolor Holdings倒闭后出现的担忧不以为然，表示并不认为信用市场存在任何系统性风险。
所罗门在利雅得“未来投资倡议”会议间隙接受电视采访时说道：“从少数不良信用事件的背后，我并没有看到任何情况，会让我说我们即将面临系统性问题。”
他重申了自己的观点，即最近地区银行因欺诈事件而遭受的损失是“特殊事件”，但表示这提醒人们要对放贷标准保持警惕。
自金融危机以来，私募信贷已膨胀成为一个规模1.7万亿美元的产业，部分原因是政府努力加强对商业贷款机构的监管并降低风险。
人们越来越担心，该行业以及更广泛的杠杆信用市场的任何裂痕，都可能迅速蔓延至银行和更广泛的经济领域。First Brands和Tricolor的倒闭促使摩根大通首席执行官杰米·戴蒙警告说，“当你看到一只蟑螂时，可能还有更多。”
所罗门补充说，如果经济急剧放缓，或者重大宏观事件动摇市场信心，整个系统都会出现损失。“但这与系统性危机不同。”他说。
