Boeing, GE Aerospace Get Nearly $50 Billion in Deals With South Korea, White House Says

Boeing (BA) is selling 103 new aircraft to Korean Air in a deal valued at $36.2 billion, the White House said Wednesday in a statement.

Korean Air will also purchase GE Aerospace (GE) engines to power the new aircraft in a separate deal valued at $13.7 billion, the White House said.

The deals were announced after President Donald Trump visited South Korea as part of a broader effort to secure investments for the US, according to the statement.

Boeing shares fell 3.3% in Wednesday trading, while GE Aerospace rose 1.6%.
