10月30日，星巴克董事长兼CEO倪睿安（Brian Niccol）在业绩交流会上，就外界关注的星巴克出售中国业务股权进展作出回应。 他表示：“我们收到了来自多个高质量合作伙伴的浓厚兴趣，他们都看到了星巴克品牌和团队的巨大价值。我们预计将保留星巴克中国的重要股权，并对该地区的长期增长潜力保持信心。”
星巴克执行副总裁兼首席财务官凯茜·史密斯（Cathy Smith）补充道，星巴克仍然专注于寻找合适的合作伙伴，以帮助释放其在中国的未来增长潜力。“星巴克在潜在交易中的价值包括三个方面：我们未来合作伙伴的前期投资、星巴克保留中国业务的重要股权以及未来的特许权使用费支付。”
