The study examines water's connection to current trends, including the expansion of artificial intelligence $(AI)$ and its implications for business opportunities and water security. Results indicate that while most consumers believe businesses should invest in technologies and infrastructure to mitigate AI's impact on natural resources, there is skepticism regarding whether companies and governments are actively implementing smart water management practices such as water reuse or recycling.
