Tianqi Lithium (HKG:9696) reported 95.5 million yuan in third-quarter attributable profit, up 119% year on year, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Wednesday.
Shares of the lithium company gained over 8% in midday trade Thursday.
Earnings per share rose 120% to 0.06 yuan.
Operating income fell 30% year on year to 2.56 billion yuan, figures showed.
