China Mobile (HKG:0941, SHA:600941) said its ultimate controlling shareholder, China Mobile Communications Group, has appointed Chen Zhongyue as chairman, succeeding Yang Jie, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Hong Kong-listed shares of the telecommunications giant gained nearly 1% in Thursday's mid-day trade.
