0912 GMT - Austrian oil-and-gas company OMV reported a solid set of earnings, with its clean operating result beating consensus expectations by 9%, RBC Capital Markets analysts Adnan Dhanani and Matthew Russell write. This was driven by a 21% beat in its fuels and feedstock segment amid strengthening margins, they write. There is near-term upside to earnings from refining-margins strength, they add.
