1834 ET - Chipotle Mexican Grill's margins are getting squeezed between rising inflation and price-sensitive consumers. Tariffs and rising beef costs are driving inflation up, CFO Adam Rymer said. But the restaurant chain doesn't plan to raise prices to fully offset inflation, he said. "While this will pressure margins, we think it's the right thing to do to provide extraordinary value to our guests during this challenging economic backdrop," Rymer said. Consumers are pulling back on dining out and taking fewer trips to the fast-casual restaurant, as lower-income and younger diners are feeling financially pinched, the company said.
