Coronado Global Resources Posts Higher Run of Mine Coal Production in September Quarter; Shares Rise 5%

Coronado Global Resources (ASX:CRN) said that its run-of-mine production of metallurgical coal came in at 7.4 million tonnes in the September quarter, up from 6.3 million tonnes last year, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
Salable production rose to 4.5 million tonnes from 3.8 million tonnes the previous year. Its sales volumes climbed to 4 million tonnes from 3.9 million tonnes.
The company expects performance to continue to improve into the fourth quarter.
Shares of the company rose 5% on Thursday's trade.
