Impro Precision Industries (HKG:1286) recorded a nearly 17% rise in third quarter revenue, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Friday.
The maker of precision machining parts generated HK$1.36 billion in sales, compared with HK$1.17 billion a year earlier.
By end-market, the diversified industrials business generated HK$777.9 million in revenue, up 41% year-on-year. The automotive business saw sales decline 13% to HK$355.4 million, while the aerospace, medical & energy segment generated HK$227.5 million--up 11%.
By geography, sales in Asia grew 34% year-on-year to HK$312 million, followed by the Americas which saw 16% more sales when compared to last year at HK$677.6 million. Meanwhile, Europe reported 6.6% higher sales at HK$371.2 million.
Shares of the company were up nearly 5% in afternoon trade.
