丰业银行资本市场经济学主管德雷克·霍尔特指出，虽然加拿大第三季度GDP折年率增速仅录得约0.4%，但这与加拿大央行最新发布的0.5%增长预期基本一致。该分析师强调，尽管统计显示8月经济环比收缩0.1%（7月增速被小幅上修至0.3%），但9月0.2%的温和扩张仍使三季度经济勉强维持正向增长。

　　霍尔特特别说明，加拿大央行季度预测模型与市场跟踪估算数据存在方法论差异，“二者在统计口径、抽样范围等关键技术参数设置上各有侧重，因此不能简单判定官方预测存在偏差”。数据显示，三季度的消费支出韧性（环比增长0.6%）与住宅投资回暖（增长1.1%）抵消了商品出口1.8%的降幅，显示经济仍在寻求动能转换支点。
