奈飞周四宣布将股票拆分为10比1，将于11月17日周一以拆分后的新价格开始交易。
流媒体巨头奈飞的股价在过去三年里飙升至每股1000美元以上。该公司表示，此举是为了“将公司普通股的市场价格重新设定在一个范围内，让参与公司股票期权计划的员工更容易接受”。
宣布分拆后，奈飞股价在数小时后上涨了2%以上。该股周四收于每股1089美元，今年以来累计上涨42%。
该股目前是标准普尔500指数中股价超过1000美元的10只股票之一。通常的做法是，公司把股票达到他们期望的水平，尽管此举的有效性是值得商榷的部分交易经纪平台上可用的广泛使用。
拆分只是让每个股东以更低的价格获得更多股份，而他们所持股份的价值根本没有改变。公司的所有基本措施都保持不变。众所周知，沃伦•巴菲特拒绝分割伯克希尔哈撒韦公司的股份，由于这个原因，该股的价格超过了每股71.7万美元。巴菲特确实创造了“B”类股票，其定价更为适中，为每股478美元。
奈飞此前曾在2015年和2004年两次分拆股票。
