CSG Systems International (CSGS) has agreed to be acquired by NEC for $80.70 per share in cash, representing a total enterprise value of about $2.9 billion, the companies said Wednesday.
The respective boards of both companies have approved the transaction, which is expected to be completed next year.
Shares of CSG were up 16% in recent premarket activity.
