Queensland Pacific Metals (ASX:QPM) said that during the September quarter, its total gas production and supply daily average came in at 25.2 terrajoules per day, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
Its total gas production and supply daily average for the same quarter in the previous year was 28.8 terrajoules per day.
During the quarter, Queensland Pacific Metals' key focus was to increase gas supply from the field following the field turn-down due to the Townsville power station overhaul. The delay in the completion of works at the power station resulted in the firm having to unexpectedly turn down production during July.
The firm completed planning for a field development program designed to increase total gas supply to around 37 terrajoules per day ahead of commissioning for the Isaac power station.
