LME fines Mizuho Securities USA 265,000 pounds for rules breach

LONDON, Oct 31 (Reuters) - The London Metal Exchange said on Friday it had fined Mizuho Securities USA 265,000 pounds ($356,000) for a breach of rules following an investigation into alleged misconduct by the LME Category 2 member.

The breach related to a requirement for members to report information about the over-the-counter metals business of their clients, affiliates or themselves, the exchange said in a notice.
