Agilysys Shares Hit 52-Week High After 2Q Earnings, Increased Revenue Guidance

Agilysys shares were 23% higher, at $141.26, after the company reported higher second-quarter earnings and raised guidance for 2026.

The stock hit its 52-week high of $145.25 earlier in the session, and is 27% higher in the past 12 months.

The package-software company said it had quarterly earnings of $11.7 million, or 41 cents a share, compared with earnings of $1.4 million, or 5 cents a share. Analysts polled by FactSet were looking for earnings of $6.2 million, or 22 cents a share.

Adjusted earnings were 40 cents this quarter, compared with last year's 38 cents a share.

Revenue for the quarter was $79.3 million, compared with last year's $68.3 million and the $76.9 million analysts expected.

Agilysys said it had recurring revenue, comprised of subscription and maintenance charges, of $51 million, compared to $41.4 million last year.

The company also raised its revenue guidance for fiscal 2026 to $315 million to $318 million, and is increasing subscription revenue growth expectations to 29% year-over-year. In May, the company said it was expecting 2026 revenue of $308 million to $312 million.
