Australian grocer Coles posts 3.9% rise in first-quarter sales revenue

Oct 30 (Reuters) - Australia's Coles Group COL.AX reported a 3.9% rise in first-quarter sales revenue on Thursday, as more consumers shopped at its supermarkets for groceries and other items. The country's second-largest grocer posted total group sales revenue of A$10.96 billion ($7.12 billion) for the quarter, compared with A$10.55 billion reported a year earlier.
