mm2 Asia Receives Payment Demand from SingLand West Mall; Shares Plunge 25%

mm2 Asia (SGX:1B0) received a statutory demand from SingLand West Mall for an amount of around SG$794,393, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Thursday.

The amount is related to outstanding rental and service charge and includes late interest and legal costs and expenses.

SingLand is now demanding full payment of the amount within three weeks from the data of receipt of the demand.

Meanwhile, the company is seeking legal advice over the matter.

Shares of the company sank over 25% in Thursday trading.
