Bank of Montreal Closes Acquisition of Burgundy Asset Management

Bank of Montreal (BMO) said Monday it completed its acquisition of Burgundy Asset Management.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Burgundy will operate as a separate line of business under BMO Wealth Management and will still be headed by Burgundy Chief Executive Robert Sankey, while co-founders Tony Arrell and Richard Rooney will remain with the business, the bank said.
