DEBT
Italy posted a state sector budget deficit of 19.7 billion euros in October compared to a shortfall of 16.9 billion euros in the same month last year, the Treasury said on Monday.
COMPANIES
STELLANTIS STLAM.MI
Sales of new cars in Italy fell in October by 0.57% year-on-year to 125,826 units, but Stellantis bucked the negative trend with sales up by 4.45%, transport ministry data and Reuters calculations showed on Monday.
BANCA MONTE DEI PASCHI DI SIENA BMPS.MI
(*) The European Central Bank (ECB) has authorised Francesco Gaetano Caltagirone to raise his stake in the Tuscan lender to up to 20%, a source close to the Italian entrepreneur told Reuters on Tuesday.
BlackRock BLK.N held a 5% stake in the Italian lender, including 4.4% with voting rights, as of October 29, market watchdog Consob said in a filing on Monday.

The Italian TV group is close to finalising a deal to buy a minority stake in Portoguese Impresa, while the Balsemao family will keep the control of the media company, dailies Il Sole 24 Ore and Il Giornale reported on Tuesday.

The two companies are working to set up a joint venture for cloud services and AI, according to several newspapers. Telecom will hold a 51% stake in the new company - due to be set up next year - with Poste taking the remaining 49%, Corriere della Sera reported on Tuesday.

The Italian construction company said on Monday Rating Agency S&P Global had upgraded its rating to 'BB+', citing the group's improving credit metrics, its solid operating performance, and future revenue visibility.

The Italian betting company on Tuesday said that 2025 its adjusted core profit would be 860 million euros ($1.00 billion), in the upper end of its previous guidance, while revenue at the end of the year would be around 2.27 billion euros, down from a previously guided range of 2.32-2.37 billion euros.
The group will hold a conference call on Q3 results.

The Italian lender announced on Tuesday a voluntary early redemption of its Tier 2 bonds due November 2030. The subortinated callable notes, worth 400 million euros, will be redeemed on November 30, 2025.
BANCA IFIS IF.MI
The bank said on Monday it had accepted an 85-million-euro offer from Banca Sella for the 50% stake in Italian digital payments app HYPE, owned by its recently acquired subsidiary illimity.
FINECO FBK.MI
The European Central Bank has set a minimum CET1 ratio of 8.68%, the bank said on Monday.

The engineering group said on Tuesday the government had given it the authorisation to press forward with both the acquisitions of Rack Peruzzi and Powerflex and that Rome would not set conditions under it so-called "golden powers".
