Sunway (KLSE:SUNWAY) unit Sunway Labuan Investment completed the acquisition of two shares representing the entire issued share capital of Hongkong Land (MCL) from Hongkong Land International, according to a Friday Malaysian bourse filing.
Shares gained over 1% in Monday's midday trade.
Following the deal completion, Hongkong Land (MCL)'s units and associated companies became units and associates of Sunway Labuan Investment, it added.
