Cyprium Metals' (ASX:CYM) Nifty copper project in Western Australia can benefit from the management team led by Executive Chair Matt Fifield, who has "extensive" experience in natural resources and, in particular, undertaking recapitalizations and turnarounds of distressed resources assets, according to a Monday Euroz Hartleys note based on the research firm's site visit to the project.

The research firm noted that Cyprium has partnered with mining contractor Macmahon (ASX:MAH) under an early contractor involvement agreement, which helps reduce project risk by using Macmahon's expertise in planning, engineering, and project management.

Euroz Hartleys believes that additional copper resources could extend the project's life beyond the initial four years, including extra copper already on the heaps and unmined oxide material within the open pit. A new leach pad (Pad 7) is planned for this material, which may deliver better recoveries, the note added.
