China Construction Bank's Q3 Profit Jumps Over 4%

China Construction Bank (HKG:0939, SHA:601939) recorded a 4.2% rise in attributable profit in the third quarter of 2025 to 95.3 billion yuan from 91.5 billion yuan a year prior, a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

Earnings per share were 0.35 yuan in the three months, with operating income falling 1.8% to 174.4 billion yuan from 177.5 billion yuan previously.

Net interest income stood at 140.9 billion yuan in the quarter, down from 144.8 billion yuan in the year-ago period.

For the nine months ended Sept. 30, the banking giant's attributable profit and operating income increased 0.6% and 1.4%, respectively, to 257.4 billion yuan and 560.3 billion yuan.

Net interest income for the three quarters reached 427.6 billion yuan.
