LY's Net Income Surges 59% in Fiscal H1

LY (TYO:4689) net income attributable to owners of the parent surged 59% to 138.3 billion yen in the fiscal first half from 87.3 billion yen a year earlier.

The internet company's earnings per share rose to 19.66 yen from 11.60 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Tuesday.

Revenue increased 7.6% to 995.4 billion yen in the six months ended Sept. 30 from 925.3 billion yen the year prior.

For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, the company expects revenue of 2.100 trillion yen and an adjusted EPS of between 25.9 yen and 26.9 yen.

In a separate filing, LY raised its year-end dividend forecast to 7.30 yen per share from 7 yen initially for the fiscal year following a tender offer and repurchase of its shares.
