佰达国际控股（01949）发布公告，董事会建议将公司已发行及未发行股本中每5股现有股份合并为1股合并股份。于本公告日期，公司法定股本为1亿港元，分为100亿股每股面值0.01港元的现有股份，其中9.6亿股已发行股份已缴足或入账列作缴足。假设自本公告日期起直至股份合并完成期间，公司不会进一步发行、配发或购回股份，于股份合并生效后，公司将有1.92亿股缴足或入账列作缴足的已发行合并股份。公司法定股本将维持于1亿港元不变，惟将分为20亿股每股面值0.05港元的合并股份。
于本公告日期，现有股份按每手买卖单位2000股现有股份于联交所买卖。建议将联交所买卖的每手买卖单位由2000股现有股份更改为4000股合并股份，惟待股份合并生效并成为条件后，方可落实。
