智通财经APP获悉，埃尼石油(E.US)与东南亚石油巨头马来西亚国家石油贸易公司(Petronas)周一宣布，双方已签署具有约束力的协议，将整合双方在印度尼西亚和马来西亚的上游油气资产，成立一家合资公司。新成立的实体NewCo将管理19个资产，其中14个位于印尼，5个位于马来西亚，计划在未来五年内投入逾150亿美元开发约30亿桶已探明储量，并进一步勘探100亿桶储量。
此举是埃尼石油“卫星”战略的组成部分。根据该战略，这家意大利能源巨头已围绕特定业务创建多家分拆公司，并通过支持其成长实现独立运营。在类似交易中，埃尼石油曾与英国石油在安哥拉合作成立Azule Energy合资公司。
此次与Petronas成立的NewCo将整合双方在马来西亚和印度尼西亚的天然气生产与开发资产组合，初始产量基数将超过每日30万桶石油当量。该合资企业计划在中期内将产量提升至每日50万桶石油当量以上。埃尼石油在声明中表示，NewCo将作为财务自给自足的实体独立运营。
