SciDev (ASX:SDV) secured a AU$19.5 million design and construction of the groundwater treatment plant package by McMahon Services Australia (NT) for the Rum Jungle rehabilitation project in the Northern Territory, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The contract covers the design and construction of a multi-stage groundwater treatment plant to treat contaminated groundwater from legacy uranium mining at the former Rum Jungle Mine, the filing said.
The project will begin immediately and is set for completion on Sept. 4, 2026.
Additionally, the contract includes an option for a two-year extension to cover the initial operation and maintenance of the plant, per the filing.
Shares rose 3% in recent trade on Monday.
